Property Value

The value of this property cannot be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

The Sparkplug producer (edge node or device) is actively publishing data when its data source is connected, i.e. when OpcLabs.BaseLib.Communication.ConnectedCondition.ConnectionState of DataSourceCondition is OpcLabs.BaseLib.Communication.CommunicationConnectionState.Connected.

Changes in the data source condition are reported through the ISparkplugProducerEvents.DataSourceConditionChanged event.

This method or property does not throw any exceptions, aside from execution exceptions such as System.Threading.ThreadAbortException or System.OutOfMemoryException.
