Parts of QuickOPC that allow specific functionalities are provided in form of component packages. Depending on your development platform, you may encounter:

• NuGet Packages, for development in .NET (.NET Framework and .NET 6+).
• Python Packages, for development in Python,
• ZIP Packages, for special purposes such as adding functionality to COM applications.

The packages contain the .NET assemblies that are needed for their function, and also additonal metadata and other information allowing the package to be easily used in the "ecosystm" of your development platform.
