Read(PointBindingGroup) Method

The binding group to be operated upon.
Executes the "Read" operation on all bindings in a given binding group.

Parameters

bindingGroup
The binding group to be operated upon.
Exceptions
ExceptionDescription
System.ArgumentNullExceptionA null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) is passed to a method that does not accept it as a valid argument.
System.InvalidOperationExceptionA method call was invalid for the object's current state.
OpcLabs.BaseLib.Licensing.LicensingExceptionThe component is not licensed for the operation requested.
Remarks
The "Read" operation reads a value of a point and stores it into the binding source. Only bindings of type PointBinding that include PointBindingOperations.Read in their BindingOperations are affected; other bindings are ignored.
