UAPubSubConnectionDescriptor Constructor(ResourceAddress)

OpcLabs.EasyOpcUA Assembly > OpcLabs.EasyOpc.UA.PubSub Namespace > UAPubSubConnectionDescriptor Class > UAPubSubConnectionDescriptor Constructor : UAPubSubConnectionDescriptor Constructor(ResourceAddress)
Network address information in the form of a resource descriptor (can be represented as URL string).

Because the OpcLabs.BaseLib.Networking.ResourceAddress has an implicit conversion from OpcLabs.BaseLib.ResourceDescriptor and System.String, in languages that support implicit conversion operators (such as C# or VB.NET), you can simply use a OpcLabs.BaseLib.ResourceDescriptor object, or a string (descriptor string - usually a URL) in place of this parameter, and the corresponding resource address will be constructed automatically. When the implicit conversion operators are not supported (such as with Python.NET), you can use the OpcLabs.BaseLib.Networking.ResourceAddress.FromResourceDescriptor or OpcLabs.BaseLib.Networking.ResourceAddress.FromString static method instead.

The value of this parameter cannot be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Initializes a new instance of the class, specifying the resource address.

Parameters

resourceAddress
Network address information in the form of a resource descriptor (can be represented as URL string).

Remarks

In languages that support implicit conversions (such as C# or VB.NET), in many cases you do not have call this constructor explicitly. When indicated, a call to an available equivalent implicit conversion operator will be created by the compiler automatically.
