Identifier Property (UANodeId)

Identifier value, either numeric, string, GUID, opaque, or none.

Property Value

The value of this property can be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

The default value of this property is null.

Exceptions
ExceptionDescription

One of the arguments provided to a method is not valid.

This is a usage error, i.e. it will never occur (the exception will not be thrown) in a correctly written program. Your code should not catch this exception.

Remarks

OPC UA node Id, represented by the UANodeId class, directly identifies a node in a server's address space.
