RemoveAliases Method (_AliasRepository)

Removes existing aliases from the repository.

Parameters

aliasNamespace: The namespace in which the aliases to be removed reside.
The value of this parameter can be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).
namePattern: The pattern of alias names to be removed.
The value of this parameter can be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Return Value

Returns value result which contains the number of aliases removed in case of success, or an error in case of failure.

This method never returns null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Remarks

This method or property does not throw any exceptions, aside from execution exceptions such as System.Threading.ThreadAbortException or System.OutOfMemoryException.
