State Property (IUADataSubscription)
Example

OpcLabs.ServerOpcUA Assembly > OpcLabs.EasyOpc.UA.NodeSpace Namespace > IUADataSubscription Interface : State Property
An arbitrary object associated with the data subscription.
Syntax
'Declaration

<CanBeNullAttribute()>
Property State As Object
'Usage

Dim instance As IUADataSubscription
Dim value As Object

instance.State = value

value = instance.State
[CanBeNull()]
object State {get; set;}
[CanBeNull()]
property Object^ State {
   Object^ get();
   void set (    Object^ value);
}

Property Value

The state object. This can be used to store user-defined data related to the data subscription.

This value of this property can be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

The default value of this property is null.

Remarks

This property provides a way to associate custom state or data with a data subscription, which can be useful for tracking additional information or context relevant to the subscription's processing logic.

This method or property does not throw any exceptions, aside from execution exceptions such as System.Threading.ThreadAbortException or System.OutOfMemoryException.

Example
// This example shows how to implement own handling of data subscriptions.
// You can use any OPC UA client, including our Connectivity Explorer and OpcCmd utility, to connect to the server.
