OpcLabs.EasyOpcUA Assembly > OpcLabs.EasyOpc.UA Namespace > UAAttributeField Class : DefaultOperand Property
Default operand.
Syntax
'Declaration

<NotNullAttribute()>
Public Shared ReadOnly Property DefaultOperand As UASimpleAttributeOperand
'Usage

Dim value As UASimpleAttributeOperand

value = UAAttributeField.DefaultOperand
[NotNull()]
public static UASimpleAttributeOperand DefaultOperand {get;}
[NotNull()]
public:
static property UASimpleAttributeOperand^ DefaultOperand {
   UASimpleAttributeOperand^ get();
}

Property Value

The value of this property cannot be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Because the UAAttributeField has an implicit conversion from OpcLabs.EasyOpc.UA.Filtering.UASimpleAttributeOperand, in languages that support implicit conversion operators (such as C# or VB.NET), you can simply use the returned OpcLabs.EasyOpc.UA.Filtering.UASimpleAttributeOperand in any place where UAAttributeField is expected as input, and the corresponding OPC UA attribute field will be constructed automatically. When the implicit conversion operators are not supported (such as with Python.NET), you can use the FromUASimpleAttributeOperand static method instead.
