The URI to be converted,

The value of this parameter can be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Converts a System.Uri to a resource descriptor.

Parameters

uri
The URI to be converted,

The value of this parameter can be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Return Value

For a non-null input, returns the resource descriptor with the given URI. Returns a resource descriptor with an empty URL string if the input is null.

This method never returns null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Remarks

This operator is equivalent to ResourceDescriptor Constructor(Uri).

This method or property does not throw any exceptions, aside from execution exceptions such as System.Threading.ThreadAbortException or System.OutOfMemoryException.
