Implicit Type Conversion(ResourceAddress,ResourceDescriptor) Operator

OpcLabs.BaseLib Assembly > OpcLabs.BaseLib.Networking Namespace > ResourceAddress Class > Implicit Type Conversion Operator : Implicit Type Conversion(ResourceAddress,ResourceDescriptor) Operator
The resource descriptor to create the resource address from.

Because the OpcLabs.BaseLib.ResourceDescriptor has implicit conversions from System.String and System.Uri, in languages that support implicit conversion operators (such as C# or VB.NET), you can simply use a string (usually representing the resource URL), or a System.Uri object, in place of this parameter, and the corresponding resource descriptor will be constructed automatically. When the implicit conversion operators are not supported (such as with Python.NET), you can use the OpcLabs.BaseLib.ResourceDescriptor.FromString or OpcLabs.BaseLib.ResourceDescriptor.FromUri static method instead.

The value of this parameter can be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Creates a resource address from a resource descriptor.
