ResourceAddress Constructor(ResourceAddress)

OpcLabs.BaseLib Assembly > OpcLabs.BaseLib.Networking Namespace > ResourceAddress Class > ResourceAddress Constructor : ResourceAddress Constructor(ResourceAddress)
Resource address object to be copied from.

Because the ResourceAddress has an implicit conversion from OpcLabs.BaseLib.ResourceDescriptor and System.String, in languages that support implicit conversion operators (such as C# or VB.NET), you can simply use a OpcLabs.BaseLib.ResourceDescriptor object, or a string (descriptor string - usually a URL) in place of this parameter, and the corresponding resource address will be constructed automatically. When the implicit conversion operators are not supported (such as with Python.NET), you can use the FromResourceDescriptor or FromString static method instead.

The value of this parameter cannot be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Initializes a new instance of the class, copying values from a given object.
