ResourceDescriptor Property (ResourceAddress)

OpcLabs.BaseLib Assembly > OpcLabs.BaseLib.Networking Namespace > ResourceAddress Class : ResourceDescriptor Property
The resource associated with this network address.
Syntax
'Declaration

Public Property ResourceDescriptor As ResourceDescriptor
'Usage

Dim instance As ResourceAddress
Dim value As ResourceDescriptor

instance.ResourceDescriptor = value

value = instance.ResourceDescriptor
public ResourceDescriptor ResourceDescriptor {get; set;}
public:
property ResourceDescriptor^ ResourceDescriptor {
   ResourceDescriptor^ get();
   void set (    ResourceDescriptor^ value);
}

Property Value

The value of this property cannot be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Remarks

Because the OpcLabs.BaseLib.ResourceDescriptor has implicit conversions from System.String and System.Uri, in languages that support implicit conversion operators (such as C# or VB.NET), you can simply use a string (usually representing the resource URL), or a System.Uri object, in place of OpcLabs.BaseLib.ResourceDescriptor value when setting this property, and the corresponding resource descriptor will be constructed automatically. When the implicit conversion operators are not supported (such as with Python.NET), you can use the OpcLabs.BaseLib.ResourceDescriptor.FromString or OpcLabs.BaseLib.ResourceDescriptor.FromUri static method instead.

Requirements

Target Platforms: .NET Framework: Windows 10 (selected versions), Windows 11 (selected versions), Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2022; .NET: Linux, macOS, Microsoft Windows
