RenameAlias Method (_AliasRepository)

Name of the existing alias to be renamed.

The value of this parameter can be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

New name of the alias being renamed.

Parameters

oldAliasName
Name of the existing alias to be renamed.

The value of this parameter can be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

New name of the alias being renamed.

Return Value

Returns an operation result object indicating success or failure of the operation.

This method never returns null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Remarks

We use the word "rename" and not "move", because in the simplified case, there are no namespaces, and there is no "move" then.
