RequiresResolution Method (UADataSetWriterDescriptor)

Determines whether this PubSub object descriptor requires a resolution (in order to obtain the necessary physical information) with specified transport profile URI string. Parameters

transportProfileUriString: The URI string of the PubSub transport profile.The URI string of the PubSub transport profile.
assumeTopicTree: Determines whether the (standard) topic tree is used.Determines whether the (standard) topic tree is used.

Return Value

Returns true if the PubSub object descriptor requires resolution with the transport profile specified by ; returns false otherwise.Returns true if the PubSub object descriptor requires resolution with the transport profile specified by ; returns false otherwise.

Remarks

When topic tree is assumed (assumeTopicTree is true), the dataset writer descriptor never requires resolution.
