QuickOPC can be configured and instrumented in various ways. Even without further effort on your side, each application developed with QuickOPC exposes the configuration and instrumentation capabilities that can be used to influence and observe its runtime behavior. You also have an option to modify some of the related behavior programatically.

There are also configuration and instrumentation tasks that are only available from code. They include:

• OPC UA Application Configuration. By changing setting of the component, You can change the global parameters of the OPC UA Application you are developing.
• Component Event Logging. You can hook to and process log events generated by the components.
• Programmatic Component Configuration. You can instantiate the components with initial settings given by a configuration that you provide.
