Implicit Type Conversion(SparkplugBrokerDescriptor,Uri) Operator

Converts a System.Uri to a Sparkplug broker descriptor.

Parameters

uri: The URI to be converted,
The value of this parameter can be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Return Value

For a non-null input, returns the Sparkplug broker descriptor with the given URI. Returns a Sparkplug broker descriptor with an empty URL string if the input is null.

This method never returns null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Remarks

This operator is equivalent to FromUri, or SparkplugBrokerDescriptor Constructor(Uri).

This method or property does not throw any exceptions, aside from execution exceptions such as System.Threading.ThreadAbortException or System.OutOfMemoryException.
