The value of this property cannot be null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Use this property to retrieve shared services. Getting the property triggers static activation of the component, if it has not been activated yet.

This method or property does not throw any exceptions, aside from execution exceptions such as System.Threading.ThreadAbortException or System.OutOfMemoryException.
