Property Value

The default value of this property is False.

Note that this property does not indicate whether the edge node is actually connected to the Sparkplug system. It can be true even if the edge node is not connected, for example, if the connection attempt failed. The property reflects whether the edge node is instructed to maintain the connection, i.e. actively try to keep it open.

This method or property does not throw any exceptions, aside from execution exceptions such as System.Threading.ThreadAbortException or System.OutOfMemoryException.
