Excel Connector Application Deployment

This chapter describes how to deploy Excel solutions developed with use of Connectivity Software Excel Connector.

For some uses, it is acceptable to perform the deployment manually. In other cases, you will find yourself writing an installer for your application, and you will probably want to include the installation of Connectivity Software components in it as well. A Production installer (part of Connectivity Software) can help with that.

This chapter is only concerned with deploying RTD the server part of the Excel Connector. That is sufficient for run-time. The Connectivity Explorer tool is used in design-time only, and therefore does not need to be deployed with the solution.
