This chapter describes how to deploy applications developed with use of Connectivity Software development tools such as QuickOPC, OPC Wizard or Rapid Toolkit for Sparkplug.

For some uses, it is acceptable to perform the deployment manually. In other cases, you will find yourself writing an installer for your application, and you will probably want to include the installation of Connectivity Software components in it as well. On Windows, Production installer (part of Connectivity Software) can help with that (for COM-based programs).
