SupportsTechnology Method (IEasyDAClientExtension2)

The client object that will perform the operation.
The OPC technologies to be tested.
Determines whether the client object supports a given OPC technology or technologies (such as OPC COM or OPC XML).

Parameters

client
The client object that will perform the operation.
opcTechnology
The OPC technologies to be tested.

Return Value

Returns true iff the client object supports all technologies specified in opcTechnology.
Exceptions
ExceptionDescription

A null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) is passed to a method that does not accept it as a valid argument.

This is a usage error, i.e. it will never occur (the exception will not be thrown) in a correctly written program. Your code should not catch this exception.
